CS491 Assignment A3

The purpose of this assignment is to complete your exploration
of the fundamentals of algorithms and data and their effect on
the way we see the world ("algorithmic thinking").  Look at
these resources, all available from the CS491 web site:

  Steve Talbott, "There is no such thing as information"
  Steve Talbott, "Technology, Alienation, and Freedom"
  Jim Gray's overview of data management

Write a short summary (1/2 page max apiece) of each of the
three items.

Revise (or extend) your answer to the A2 question about the
hierarchy of terms (data, algorithm, information, practice,
knowledge) in light of what you have read in these pieces.

Revise or extend your answer to the A2 question about
"algorithmic thinking" in light of what you have read and
what you have learned from our discussions.
