Course Description:

CS755 covers current and emerging issues in advanced computer networks, protocols and applications.   Although the class consists mostly of lectures delivered by Dr. Simon, the spirit of the class is that of a seminar, and active class participation is expected.  We focus on three major issues:

Distance Learning

Project

 Project details will be presented during the second lecture.  The project will involve designing and programming one of several possible network algorithms. 
 

Grading 

Examination Rules:

The GMU honor code and the CS honor code applies.  Further, no early exams will be offered.   If you must miss an exam then you must provide a written, verifiable excuse. No makeup exams will be offered until your excuse is verified.
