All mail going through GMU is routed through GMU's anti-spam filter. By default the filter traps mail and sends you a daily list of messages it believes to be junk mail, from which you can unjunk selected messages.

The filter is not very good. But you can tweak it to improve it somewhat. Specifically, you can specify that certain email addresses will always or never get trapped in the filter.

  1. Log into the web interface of the anti-spam filter at https://antispam.gmu.edu. Use your GMU (MEMO) account username and password.
  2. Click on "Options"
  3. Click on "Safelist" to add email addresses of individuals who should never be trapped in the filter. or...
  4. Click on "Blocklist" to add email addresses of individuals who should always be trapped in the filter. or...
