Tracking Degree Progress

How do I keep track of my degree progress?

Print out your Degree Evaluation from PatriotWeb each semester. It can be used as a guide to determine any courses that you still need to take to complete your degree requirements. The PatiotWeb degree evaluation does not guarantee that you meet all degree requirements. For example, it may not check for the extra humanities course that is required for the BS CS major.

The GMU Catalog lists the official requirements for each degree.

The following checklists and schedules should be used for planning purposes only. The GMU catalog is the official reference for all degree requirements.

Advising Checklists (11-12 Catalog)

Advising Checklists (10-11 Catalog)

Advising Checklists (09-10 Catalog)

Sample Schedule for BS CS majors

Sample Schedule for BS CS majors who begin with Math 105 (or Math 104)

Sample Schedule for BS CS majors who transferred from a VCCS school with an A.S. degree

Sample Schedules for BS ACS majors are published in the GMU catalog.

Advising Checklists for older catalogs are available on the Advising Center website.
