For up to 5 extra credit points, you may choose to do
an Optional Class Presentation. Your presentation will be evaluted both
on effectiveness as well as correctness.
- Describe "Persuasive Technology" and "Captology"
- What is Jini Technology?
- What are servelets and active server pages?
- What is Cold Fusion?
- What is Perl?
- What is Swing?
- Explain how Java security works.
- Present and demonstrate the HTML tools: Bobby, Validator, and
HTML_tidy
- Review the book: Java Cryptography by Jonathan Knudsen,
O'Reilly, 1998. (You don't need to go into details, just describe what
this book is about and the practical applications.)
- What Contributions
have Alan Kay and Doug Englebart Made to Modern Computing
- What will be the impact of the new XML standard? What are the
big changes?
