INFS-614: Summer 2009 Documents and Announcements
-
Important guidelines
-
Exams:
The mid-term exam is on 31 July, and the final exam is on 14 August, and you
must attend both. There will be no alternative exam dates!
-
Homework:
All homework must be done individually by the submitting student. You may not
collaborate with other students, and you may not submit the work of others
(for example, from previous semesters) as your own. I take the honor code seriously!
-
Classroom etiquette:
-
All mobile phones must be turned off and put away for the duration of the
lecture. Texting or browsing are not permitted.
-
The use of laptops is strictly limited to note-taking.
-
Late entries and early exits should be avoided, but are permitted -- however,
a student is allowed one entry and one exit in each period!
-
Each lecture is 165 minutes; therefore the time slot 5:00-8:00 allows for one
15 minute break.
