The objective of the game is to get all the numbers in order and have the blank tile at the bottom right. To do this, you may choose a tile to slide into the blank space. Only tiles immediately adjacent to the blank space may be moved. Tiles cannot move diagonally. 

From the game menu the following options are available:
1. Show Instructions - this option displays these instructions

2. Play New Game - this option stops any paused games, and creates a new random board to play. This will also reinitialize the playback feature.

3. Resume Previous Game - this option will resume a game that was paused. If no game has been paused, the system will display an error message to the user and return to the main menu.

4. Show replay of the last game - this option will show the original board the current game began with, and then replay all the user's moves. This option will replay either a paused game or the most recently won game if no paused game exists.

From the game menu you can move tiles by selecting the tile number to move. You may also pause or quit the game. If desired, you can also randomly scramble the board at any point in the game. Scrambling during a game will be shown during playback and could make the playback much longer.
