GURT 2004
Comparative and Cross-Linguistic Research in Syntax, Semantics, and Computational Linguistics
Georgetown University, Washington, DC
March 26-28, 2004

The Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics (GURT) is an annual linguistics conference that has been held at Georgetown since 1949. It began as a gathering for discussions of issues in all fields of linguistics, and over time has developed into a more specialized forum. This year GURT will focus on the fields of syntax, semantics, and computational linguistics.

GURT 2004 will include both invited presentations and submitted papers. We welcome any topics in syntax, semantics, and computational linguistics, as pursued from a comparative or cross-linguistic perspective. We are particularly interested in submissions in the following areas:

These areas are of special interest to faculty and students at Georgetown, and we anticipate that there will be special sessions devoted to them.
