This message is from David Toywa, computer teacher at Butonge AC, Bungoma Kenya:

Hi Henry,

As you may understand, we had not checked mail for so long, mainly because of a very busy schedule of duty and events. We were admitting new students and the process is quite demanding on our time. Sorry, we may have affected your planning without your knowledge of our opinion.

We are quite excited Henry, everyone looks foward to seeing you and Ed again. The students interact with the books and computers you sent us every day, they are eager to see, hear, interact and socialise with you, for you are not ordinary to them. You have such an influence on their academic lives. Some were not there when you came last time and they desire to see the person with so big a heart. Of course I really want to meet you.

I intend to send you some photos of me and colleagues, the school, the library and the computer Lab so you may have an idea of the currrent position of the school.

I did install windows xp on some computers and they worked. The computers are quite fast and have an apppropriate HDD size. Thanks Prof, May you be blessed abudantly.

Everyone is talking about the Digital Library. After explaining what it meant to the school, everyone was baffled and is looking foward to gaining greatly from the information on the Lib. Do we ned to network the comps to maximise on utilisation of the Lib? Please advise anything we need to do ensure as many students and teachers can access it at a time.

We welcome you to AC. Till we hear from you Goodbye from a Warm Nairobi.

David T.
