§         Animation of the Walt Disney kind takes artistic skill and painstaking effort, but 3D Choreographer lets you create eye-catching animations (.FLI files) without breaking a sweat. You can choose from a wide variety of "actors,'' including people, animals and objects like pencils and computers. Each actor is tunable so you can modify hair style, facial features or coloring. Actions such as running, jumping and even smiling are built into the program, so you don't need to deal with the details of how the actors move--they just do. $149. AniCom, 800-949-4559, fax 919-933-9503.
