SWE 632 Project Technology Demo Assignment
Spring 2011
Due February 28

If I had 6 hours to cut down a tree I'd spend 4 hours sharpening my axe.
-- folk saying

Experience keeps a dear school, but fools will learn in no other.
-- Poor Richard's Almanac, 1757 (Ben Franklin)

For the technology demo deliverable, you must create a simple demonstration interface to verify that you have the technological skills to build software using your chosen hardware / software platform. Implement an interface to accept names and contact info, save them in a file, and present them to other users. The purpose of this assignment is to ensure that you are proficient with the tools you will use for the major part of the assignment, thus, feel free to modify or expand this demo if you think it will help. This is not part of your final project, but a separate demonstration!

For example, if you plan to use PHP, you should write a PHP page to save the data. If you plan to use a database representation, you should store the data in the database you plan to use.

If your technological demo is available on the web, send your URL via email to me and the TA. If not, give me a printout of the screen. I do not need to see your demo run and I do not need to see the source code.
