Updated schedule to as describe in class this week.
Reading Assignment 3 is now a "do it yourself" exercise.
Do not turn it in.

September 25:
Grades for Reading Assignment 2 posted on Blackboard.
Not surprisingly,
the collaborative solutions were generally better (average 3.75 vs. 3.28 out of a possible 4)
before any collaborative bonus was added in.
This is just a comment about averages; there were some excellent noncollaborative
solutions as well.
The collaborative bonus was 10% or .4 points.

September 11:
Posted Program 1 on Blackboard.
If you plan on using the Zeus machine provided by VSE,
I suggest you get the simple socket example discussed in class
running first. That way, you will be sure to get the VPN issues
resolved and out of the way.

September 9: (after class)

In the Carzaniga paper (part of the reading for next week),
I am simply looking for some basic understanding
of the routing algorithm for subscriptions.
We will go over a detailed example in lecture.
Bottom line: Focus on getting a general idea; the whole paper has quite
a bit of material in it.
