Biosketch

SRINIVAS V. R GUTTA was born in Sangli, India in 1970. He received his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore University, Mysore , India in 1992 and his M.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University in 1994. He is currently a Research Assistant in the Center for Parallel and Distributed Computation and is working towards his Ph.D. degree in the School of Information Technology and Engineering ( SITE) at George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia. He is the recipient of the Karnataka State Center for Science & Technology (KSCST) Outstanding Project of the year award for the year 1992 for his work in Isolated Word Recognition System. He is a student member of SPIE,IEEE and AAAI.
