Intelligent Systems for Robotics

Either CS580, ECE 650, SYST 611, or SYST555. If not CS580, please contact me.
About the Class
This course will cover basic concepts in autonomous robotics. The course will be project-rich and directly involve robots. The emphasis will be on those concepts necessary for autonomous team humanoid robotics, specifically: Architectures and Behaviors, Kinematics and Dynamics, Sensors, Localization, Robot Learning, basic Hardware Interfaces, and Multiagent Systems. Given additional time, we may also cover Partial Order Planning, Path/Trajectory Planning, Simulation, and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM).

Grading
Grading will be based roughly on the following:
50% Final and/or Midterm (if a Midterm is held).
50%Several Projects.
