My name is Huayu Zhou, and I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science at George Mason University. Broadly speaking, my research interests span from Data Mining to Natural Language Processing, especially in Machine Translation. Before I transferred into GMU, I joined the CS Ph.D. program at the University of Nevada Reno for almost one year with some research in AI/Security. Additionally, I was recruited as an Algorithm Engineer at Beijing Lagou Network Technology Co., Ltd since August, 2017 for almost two years with some experience in Recommendation Systems. I obtained my Masters in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Nevada Reno. Furthermore, I finished my undergraduate study at Shandong First Medical University, Shandong, China. Except for academic study and research activities, I like travelling around, I used to live in Reno, Nevada, San Jose, California, Seattle, Washington and Beijing China. Frankly, I’m very excited that I will stay in the Washington DC Area for my following couple of years.
