Setting up homework page

Each student will have to set up a homework page, where he/she will post the code and results of applying the code on images. In case the homework requires some written documents, you can upload the documents in (.pdf) format and provide the link. You can also hand in the written part homework in the class.

All materials should be accessible in the browser, within a single click in the browser. Please do not link Microsof word file, .zip file, or other things which require dowloading unless explicitely asked. The link to figures in .jpeg (or some standard format) should be provided. (Do not link figures (.fig) created by Matlab).

Each student has a 3 late days budget. You can use the 3 days as you want throughout the semester, but beyond that there will be no extensions and exeptions.

Discussions and collaboration via piazza.com

I have set up an online collaboration tool for the class at piazza.com . You will receive an invitation via e-mail to join it. The idea is to support discussion and collaboration between students throught out the semester, while maintaining the honor code honor code

Installin OpenCV and running Matlab

Get started with OpenCV instalation and make sure you can run some of the OpenCV Code examples. Here are instructions on accesing Matlab remotely. I would however recommend buying student version with the toolboxes (Image Processing and Computer Vision toolboxes). http://labs.vse.gmu.edu/index.php/Software/MATLAB
