- Menasce was the founding co-Director of the E-Center
for Excellence in Research and Education in E-Business (ECEB) and was the co-Director of the Center until August, 2005. The
center's mission included
- Carry
out leading-edge research in e-business, and to publish in
leading scholarly journals as well as conferences and trade magazines.
- Establish
a regional community of interest that
shares common goals, concerns and problems related to e-business.
- Provide
a shared research, advanced development and prototyping environment to
regional e-business companies.
- Effect
technology transition from the Center to member companies through joint
projects, student internships, short courses, and workshops.
- Menasce was one of the two founders of the
Center for Smart Power Grids
- Menasce was one of the two co-founders of the Center for the New Engineer, which was later renamed Hyperlearning Center when Menasce became its director.
