SWE 205 Reading Reflection Number 7
Due Monday, March 18, 2024

  1. List the names of students in your group.
  2. Did everyone in your group contribute to the discussion of your solutions to this reading reflection? If not, who did not?
  3. In his introduction, Krug says he thinks something is usable if
A person of average (or even below average) ability and experience can figure out how to use the thing to accomplish something without it being more trouble than it's worth.
What do you think of Krug's statement?
  4. In Chapter 2, Krug asserts, "...the thing that has struck me most is the difference between how we think people use Web sites and how they actually use them." Does your group think that they really understand how people use the web? If not, explain where you think you think you fall short. If so, explain why you wouldn't fit Krug's profile.
  5. In Chapter 3, Krug talks about how Web sites can support scanning. This material was written a decade ago. Do you think much has changed with this advice, or has this material aged well?
