SWE 205 Reading Reflection Number 11
Due Monday, April 15, 2024

  1. List the names of students in your group.
  2. Did everyone in your group contribute to the discussion of your solutions to this reading reflection? If not, who did not?
  3. In Chapter 10, Krug said, "many - if not most - serious usability problems are the result of a poor decision about tradeoffs." What do you think Krug means by this, and do you agree or disagree?
  4. In Chapter 10, Krug discussed affordances. Does his use of the term match Norman's? If not, what's the difference?
  5. Have you ever designed with accessibility in mind? Or tested for accessibility? Do you personally know someone for whom accessibility is an issue in accessing mobile and/or the web? If so, please explain how some principle from Krug could have improved the outcome. (Or perhaps did improve the outcome!)
