Two-hour Tutorial

Anticipated Schedule

The tutorial will follow a 2-hour program. In particular, about 20 minutes are envisioned to be budgeted to the introductory overview of molecular spaces in part A of the tutorial (as detailed above). The next 20 minutes will then be devoted to the exposition of the robot motion planning problem and its analoguous sub-problems for proteins and RNA in part B of the tutorial. About 30 minutes are anticipated to be sufficient and allow providing a comprehensive review of the state of the art on PRM, RRT, EST, PDST and summarize their adaptations, as outlined in part C. The final 50 minutes will be dedicated to highlighting 3-4 selected recent methods, which the organizers will draw upon from their recent research.
