The next evaluation is for a travel web site. Evaluate the
Yahoo!Travel web site (
travel.yahoo.com),
Expedia (
www.expedia.com), Kayak,
Orbitz, or whatever travel site you wish.
You do not need to actually purchase any tickets or other products. You
can go through most of the process without actually ordering and
without entering any proprietary information.
Evaluate the web site using all of the criteria and principles that we
have discussed in class, paying particular attention to web page
design, form handling, and "flow". Your report should list problems,
explain why they are problems, and suggest solutions. We will look at
the sites next week in class.
Use the evaluation criteria and checklist provided. Make any additional
comments that you feel are necessary, and suggest any additional
criteria that you feel are needed.
