Alex Brodsky keynotes international conference

Alex Brodsky, Professor of Computer Science, will serve as a keynote speaker at the joint session of the ENASE-2026 and ICEIS-2026 International Conferences, to be held in Benidorm, Spain, in May 2026.

His keynote, “Decision Guidance Systems and Their Applications,” will focus on Decision Guidance Systems (DGS), a class of Decision Support Systems designed to capture expert knowledge and provide actionable recommendations to human decision-makers. The talk will introduce the Decision Guidance Analytics Language (DGAL) and Decision Guidance Management System (DGMS), a platform for rapidly developing decision guidance applications and will highlight real-world applications of DGMS technology, including renewable energy investment for carbon neutrality at George Mason University, cloud manufacturing through the Market of Virtual Things, optimal sensor placement in counter-UAV systems, and non-pharmaceutical pandemic mitigation strategies used by George Mason University during COVID-19.
