BIO: Moshe Vardi is a University Professor and an expert in Computational Engineering at Rice University. He has received numerous awards for his work, including three IBM Outstanding Innovation Awards and the ACM Kanellakis Award. Vardi has authored over 600 papers and two books, and he is a Fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Mathematical Society.
He is also a member of notable academies like the US National Academy of Engineering and holds seven honorary doctorates. Currently, he is a Senior Editor of the Communications of the ACM.
