Congratulations on this wonderful achievement! All of us at the Computer Science Department are extremely proud of your success. We have seen first-hand how much effort you put into your learning. Those countless hours trying to debug that SEGFAULT, or trying to understand that 10-page project specification - it has all finally paid off. Overcoming today’s uncommon circumstances due to COVID-19 should make you and your loved ones proud of you.

Each May, the Department of Computer Science honors award recipients at a Graduation Celebration and Awards Dinner. It is unfortunate that this year’s event cannot take place.

 Mason Core classes are critical for engaging students and helping to create Mason Graduates: Well-Rounded Citizens and Engaged Scholars who are Prepared to Act. We are very grateful for their commitment to excellent teaching in the Mason Core. The Fall 2019 Mason Core Teaching Recognition recipients are:

Professor Alex Brodsky serves as conference co-chair of the 22nd International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS-2020), which is taking  place May 5-7, 2020.

ICEIS, which traditionally accepts under 25% of submissions as full papers, brings together researchers, engineers and practitioners from nearly fifty countries who are interested in the areas of (1) Databases and Information Systems Integration, (2) Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Systems, (3) Information Systems Analysis and Specification, (4) Software Agents and Internet Computing, (5) Human-Computer Interaction, and (6) Enterprise Architecture
